The right gear is important and where you buy it is also important. It is true. I spend a lot of time looking for things that work for me. I am past the point in my life where I opt for the cheapest alternative that will do the job, or follow the trendiest fad, or buy this season’s most fashionable color.
I pay for quality when it is important because I want things that will last and perform as promised. I purchase from stores that support their communities and stand behind their products. I am loyal to brands that try* to do things right*. (*try – it should always be possible, right? But how do you get around manufacturing in developing economies? Perhaps I should say – *try to do things *better.)
I read online reviews but always consider the source. I listen to trusted friends for advice.
In this section of the blog I will be your trusted friend. (no sponsors yet – opinions are untainted – lol)
